 David has focused on providing professional expertise around the Selling and Buying
of businesses since 2001. MAXIMA’s success has been built on developing a tested and
proven system for successfully selling a business. This proven system combines David’s
20+ years of management consulting for corporate turn-a-rounds, optimizing, and
problem solving with lessons learned from numerous negotiations and closing deals.
David provides a strong personal commitment and drive to assist Business Owners in
maximizing their benefits of exiting their business.
David’s experience has included consulting in various roles since 1991. "On site" project
work has been completed in the US, Canada, and the Middle East. Prior to his various
rolls in management consulting, David completed 15 years oil & gas industry experience
in both the drilling service sector and the surface facilities production equipment sector.
Projects have varied from strategic acquisitions, to overall corporate mergers, successful
divestitures, and management consulting solutions. Past Clients have ranged from oil &
gas service companies, to technology and Internet based software solutions, to millwork
shops and fabrication service providers.
To assist Clients create solutions that work, David’s roles have included being installed
on Board of Directors, Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial Officer, President,
General Manager, Controller, Advisor to the Investors, Production Manager, V.P. of
Sales & Marketing, Alliance Development Specialist, and Venture Capitalist.
